A global traveller, Deb Never is nominally based in Los Angeles, although she’s spent time in Korea, Malaysia, and more.
Spending 2019 on the road with the likes of Brockhampton and Dominic Fike, 2020 found Deb locked down in London.
Using her time to raise money for health workers, she also knuckled down and polished off a few lingering ideas.
New single ‘Someone Else’ was completed in London, and it uses production from Night Slugs cohort Jam City.
Out now, it’s an affecting slice of slomo electronic with a raw sonic palette, one that reflects the lingering influence of Seattle grunge on her work.
